Many say the pig refers to Sarah Palin; however, when I first heard this comment this morning, I thought the "pig" was in reference to McCain, e.g., that putting "lipstick" (Sarah Palin) on the ticket didn't mean it wasn't the same McCain as before he put her on the ticket. Nevertheless, it is no doubt that the media is using her status as a woman against her, especially when it comes to her being able to maintain a commitment and responsibility to this country and to her potential position in the White House.
